Winter-treated DHA algae oil for soft capsule and gummy applications Omega-3

High-purity omega-3 lipids suitable for the production of soft capsules and gummy supplements with excellent transparency winterization DHA oil.

This product is an omega-3 oil for food applications made from DHA algae oil produced through the fermentation of microalgae, subjected to physical refining and low-temperature winterization treatment. The fatty acid structure is in the natural triglyceride (TG) form, widely used as a DHA lipid material suitable for health foods and food processing applications. DHA is produced by cultivating microalgae (Schizochytrium species) using a closed fermentation system. After fermentation, the oil is extracted from the algal biomass, and DHA oil is recovered through physical refining, followed by low-temperature winterization treatment to remove high-melting-point saturated fatty acid components. This winterization process improves the clarity and low-temperature stability of the oil, stabilizing its appearance quality. It is particularly suitable for product applications that require oil clarity and is used as a manufacturing ingredient for soft capsule supplements and gummy supplements. Compared to conventional algae oil, winterized oil is less likely to become cloudy or precipitate under low-temperature conditions, excelling in maintaining the quality of the product's appearance. Therefore, it is a highly valuable DHA lipid raw material in the health food sector, where appearance quality is emphasized, such as in transparent capsule products and gummy products.
